An accomplished and successful leader who is established having held various C-suite positions with over 28 years’ experience spanning international domains across Australia, Canada, Ethiopia, Kenya and the U.A.E.
A highly motivated individual who is always keen to explore all avenues of opportunity with a focus to identify business needs and deliver innovative solutions. With extensive expertise in turn-around operations, change management, strategic planning, and business development, Riyaz has worked in various industry sectors developing and executing strategies while ensuring operations are efficient with strong corporate governance frameworks.
Riyaz has been actively involved in Real Estate Development has developed residential and commercial projects. Through his journey of real estate development, he has gained tremendous experience in the entire development journey including formulation of feasibility, raising debt, and negotiation with architects, project managers as well as contractors. Riyaz has also been involved with negotiations with operators for hospitality and branded developments.
Riyaz has also garnered significant experience in the manufacturing and trading sectors. He has been involved in the set-up of manufacturing businesses and the formulation of operations. He has also been active in the trading business especially in the areas of import and export of products.
Given the vast experience garnered by him over the years, Riyaz assists CEOs and business owners on building strong financial and legal framework with a focus on key value drivers and developing strategies to substantially grow enterprise value with an emphasis on long term business sustainability.
Qualified with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary, Canada, a Graduate Diploma in Management from Australian Graduate School of Management, Australia and an International Diploma in Compliance from the University of Manchester, U.K.
